A day before his 33rd birthday, Julian Edelman and the New England Patriots are closing in on a contract that could see the Wide Receiver in New England for the remainder of his career.

The extension includes an $8 million signing bonus with $12 million guaranteed and goes through the 2021 season. The contract is worth up to $19 million. This is a well-deserved pay raise for Edelman and ensures that Tom Brady’s go-to target available for at least two more seasons.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP has spent his entire 10-year career with the Patriots, and it appears as if the Kent St. alum will be finishing his career in Foxboro.
