It was one of the most controversial hits of the season.
Josh Allen led with his helmet colliding with Jones that ended with the quarterback leaving the game and entering concussion protocol.
Fans across the league voiced their opinion on whether Jones should have been suspended, fined or both. Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott was very vocal about it in his post-game press conference .
Though they are rivals, this did not stop Jones from reportedly checking in on the second year quarterback’s condition.
Patriots CB Jonathan Jones said he connected with Bills QB Josh Allen through social media, as he wanted to make sure he was OK after last Sunday’s game. Jones also said he has not heard from the NFL regarding any possible fine.

Allen was a full participant in practice today as reported by Ian Rapoport.
