Report: Jets to Bring Back Sack Leader

Joe Douglas has shown his wizardry all offseason and continued that with the re-signing of linebacker Jordan Jenkins to a one-year deal.

The 2016 third-round pick out of Georgia has been a valuable asset for the Jets the last few seasons. In his three seasons with the Jets, he has totaled 20.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, and 157 total tackles.

Jordan led the Jets with eight sacks in 2019.

There were some questions as to whether the Jets would or wouldn’t re-sign him but obviously now we know the choice. The Jets have pretty much shored up their defensive corps which they have been adding to plenty.

You have to wonder how this will impact the Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes, which the Jets are very much involved in.
