The 26-year-old has appeared in 66 career games, including 12 last season.
Neville Hewitt went undrafted out Marshall back in 2015 but was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. In three seasons, he played 38 out of a possible 48 games –– however, he made just seven starts. After the 2017 season, Hewitt clung onto the Jets and seemed to round into form.
After making just four starts in 16 games his first season with the Jets, he started all 12 games he appeared in for the 2019 season.
Now, he has just signed a one-year deal again for the 2020 season. In 66 career games, Hewitt has 5.5 career sacks, 14 quarterback hits, and three interceptions.
