After loading up on the offensive line the past few days, it appears that the Jets are going to try to shore up their defensive corps on Wednesday.
They have struck a deal with a fan-favorite defensive back, Brian Poole, who played his first season with the Jets last season.
Jets are re-signing their CB Brian Poole, per source.

In his career, the 27-year-old has 255 total tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble, five interceptions, and 25 pass deflections.
He started off his career on the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and was a backup for a large part of his career. He then signed on with the Jets for the 2019 season and played fairly well as a starter. He had a pick-six off of Derek Carr in Week 12, endearing himself to Jets fans everywhere.
With him re-joining the Jets for another season, it strengthens their already decent defense. However, New York still has a handful of needs to address if they want to shore up their postseason chances even more.
