Report: Dolphins to Sign Patriots Wide Receiver

In what will be a hard one for fans to swallow, the Miami Dolphins have reportedly agree to terms with wide receiver Danny Amendola ending his tenure with the New England Patriots.

NFL Network host Dan Hellie reported the breaking news via Twitter.

The contract is a two-year deal worth $12 million in total with incentives and $8.25 million guaranteed.

Amendola (32), had worked his way to become a fan favorite in New England becoming infamous for his clutch catching ability.

The wide receivers left with the departure of Amendola are as follows.

Brandin Cooks, Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Kenny Britt, Phillip Dorsett, and Malcolm Mitchell.
