The 2018 NFL trade deadline is off to a wild start as the Dallas Cowboys have acquired Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper for a 2019 first round selection according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Oakland is off to a tough start with a 1-5 record and is already looking to the future. Jon Gruden’s team now holds three first-round picks in the 2019 NFL draft.
The Cowboys have been lacking depth at the wide receiver position this season and hopes to jump-start their offense with Cooper.
The Raiders drafted the Alabama alum in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft and since then, Cooper has a career total of 3,183 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns.
