Cam Newton Interested in Signing With Patriots?

A Heisman Trophy winner could be the next man in charge of the huddle in New England.

That man is Cam Newton, who reportedly has interest in joining the Patriots following the departure of Tom Brady.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler added that the Auburn alum and his camp know that the Patriots “are one of those teams that could be looking.”

Newton, 30, is a three-time Pro Bowler and a 2015 First-Team All-Pro looking for a new home after the Carolina Panthers handed the reins to Teddy Bridgewater.

The Patriots have Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer at quarterback, although it appears that it may not stay that way.
