Report: Bills Closing Blockbuster Deal

The Buffalo Bills aren’t playing around as the team is closing in on a major upgrade.

NFL Network’s National Insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers are close to sending All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown to Buffalo.

Brown, a sixth-round pick has been named a First-team All-Pro four times and has totaled over 11,000 receiving yards in his career.

In an interview with NFL.com, Brown laid out the ground rules for any team he’s going to play for.

“I don’t even have to play football if I don’t want. I don’t even need the game, I don’t need to prove nothing to anyone,” Brown said. “If they wanna play, they going to play by my rules. If not, I don’t need to play.”

Brown recently commented on Instagram that the report was “fake news.”

Trades cannot officially go through until the league year officially begins on March 13.

Bills and NFL writer Vic Carucci reported that while the Bills have indeed inquired about Brown, a deal between both teams according to another league source is “unlikely.”

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane confirmed that his team would not be trading for Brown.
