The Oakland Raiders finally added another edge rusher to the fold, with defensive end Benson Mayowa. He agreed to a one-year deal that could be worth up to $3 million in incentives.
Raiders are nearing contract with DE Benson Mayowa, source said. One-year deal can top $3 million when including incentives. Mayowa was first with Raiders in 2014-15.

The Raiders added defensive ends Josh Mauro and former AAF player Alex Barrett before signing Benson Mayowa. They will join Arden Key to try and produce more sacks, the Raiders only 13 sacks last season.
Mayowa played two seasons in his first stint with Raiders, starting three games and playing in 28. During his time with the Raiders, he had 29 total tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. Mayowa left the Raiders to sign with the Dallas Cowboys for three years, but his time with the Cowboys was cut short.
Last season with the Arizona Cardinals, Mayowa had four sacks and 38 tackles. The ex-Cardinal will add some much-needed depth to the defensive line for the Raiders, and hopefully, he will create more pressure on the quarterback.
