The NBA has been turned on its head. With a crazy summer of moves, this article will try to predict who will fill the top eight positions in the Eastern CConference.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks have added a lot of talent to their roster and great pieces to build around MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Wesley Mathews, George Hill, and Kyle Korver will stretch the floor and will lead to them winning the East.
Indiana Pacers
The Pacers have gotten significantly better this off-season. The sign and trade with Milwaukee to land Malcolm Brogdon will help the Pacers significantly. Also, Jeremy Lamb compliments the solid core of Sabonis and Oladipo.
Philadelphia 76ers,
The 76ers have given Ben Simmons his money. After losing Jimmy Butler, the 76ers gained Al Horford. The 76ers lack three-point shooting to beat the Bucks and Pacers. That big-man duo of a motivated Al Horford and Joel Embiid will be fun to watch.
Boston Celtics
The Celtics lost Al Horford and Kyrie Irving but gained Kemba Walker and Enes Kantar. Walker is probably a better fit with the young Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Marcus Smart and Jason Tatum, making this a top-four team.
Brooklyn nets
This young team is going to be awesome. The Brooklyn Nets added DeAndre Jordan, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant. Durant is probably not going to be at 100 percent this year but adding him to the big three of Caris Lavert, Jordan, and Irving makes this a stacked team with a young bench. The best Nets’ team may come together in two years.
Toronto Raptors
Winning the Championship is every team’s goal. The Raptors checked that box last year after an amazing run with Kawhi Leornard. Now that Leornard is gone, this is Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry’s team. This unit is still a playoff team but without Leonard they can’t repeat as champs.
Orlando Magic
The Magic are one of those young up-and-coming teams. The core of Aaron Gordon, Mo Bamba, and Nikola Vucevic alongside D.J. Augustine is good enough to win the eighth spot in the east.
