Post-Super Bowl Buffalo Bills Mock Draft

With the Senior Bowl in the rearview mirror, the focus is fully on the NFL Draft. It’s time to figure out who the Buffalo Bills will draft this spring in Nashville.

1st Round- TE Noah Fant, Iowa

With this pick, the Buffalo Bills will get a weapon for Josh Allen for over the middle of the field, which a spot that he likes to throw to. Fant is also a good blocker in the run game, an area that Bills could use improvement on.

2nd Round- OT Yodny Cajuste, West Virginia

The Bills need to protect their investment of Allen their 1st round picks last year. Cajuste is a beast in the run game and point of attack needs a little work with his pass sets.

3rd Round- C Elgton Jenkins, Mississippi State

Jenkins has outstanding football IQ and is able to read the d-line and call out stunts before they happen. The reason he falls is he tends to play a little soft with his hands, losses hand battles.

4th Round- WR DeMarcus Lodge, Ole Miss

Here’s another talented target for Josh Allen, who has absolutely no help right now. Lodge has good run-after-catch skills.

4th Round (via Kansas City)- WR Anthony Johnson, Buffalo

You may say why would the Bills take two WR in the same round and I would point out since Allen came back from his injury he was a better-rated QB in four or five receiver sets. The only real NFL wideouts on the team are Zay Jones and Robert Foster, everyone else would be classified as projects.

5th Round- RB Bryce Love, Stanford

The Bills need a backup plan to replace LeSean McCoy who is a 30 plus running back coming off of the worst season of his career. Love would have been a second-round pick, but with a knee injury suffered at the end of the season, it will push him down the draft board.

5th Round (via Oakland)- OLB Booby Okereke, Stanford

The Bills could use depth at the LB position and Okereke can provide that along with the ability to play on special teams.

6th Round- CB Lonnie Johnson, Kentucky

Johnson has good size and is an outside corner and can play zone coverage. He fits in the defense that Sean McDermott plays just needs to work on playing man coverage and tackling that is what may have him fall to the sixth round.

7th Round- LB Drue Tranquill, Notre Dame

Bills fans will like his comparison; think Matt Milano. He’s a little undersized, but that will work in McDermott’s defensive; he likes weak side LBs who can run and tackle.

7th Round (via Carolina)- DT Kingsley Keke, Texas A&M

Keke is more of a space-eater who loves to stuff the run. That was a weakness with the Bills defense last year and Keke can be added to the rotation if he is able to stick onto the roster.
