Pistons vs Heat reaction

Jacari McRae| November 13th, 2019

The shorthanded Miami Heat took care of business by defeating the Blake Griffin-less Detriot Pistons.  Even though the Heat nearly lost a double-digit lead, they made enough plays late to finish off the Pistons. The team now moves to 7-3 for the season with a 47% ROI as we get the latest ATS Numbers from this source that’s ideal for any NBA buff prior to betting. Here are my takeaways from Tuesday’s win over the Pistons.

Jimmy Does It All

For the early part of the game, Jimmy Butler was looking for his teammates. He also played terrific defense on Pistons guard Luke Kennard. And when the Pistons crept back into the game, Butler went into attack mode in the fourth quarter. Butler scored 11 points in the fourth period. He finished the game with 20 points and 11 assists, with no turnovers.

Nunn Bounces Back

The past few games have been a struggle for the Heat rookie guard Kendrick Nunn. However, on Tuesday night, he played much better. With the Pistons closing the gap in the third quarter, Nunn responded with 11 points in the period. He also hit a key three-pointer late in the fourth.
Nunn finished the game with 20 points, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

Haslem Makes an Appearance

Udonis Haslem made his season debut when he entered late in the third quarter following the fifth foul on Chris Silva. Haslem received a standing ovation when he scored his first point of the game. As the fourteenth man on the roster, Haslem is not a part of the Heat’s rotation. However, whenever his number is called, he’s always ready to play. With others being sidelined, there’s a chance Haslem could play the next game.
