There is an exciting slate of 12 games on Sunday. Here are final score predictions for all of the Week 13 Sunday contests, with reasoning.
Keep track of my “Sunday Score” all season long. This weighted formula gives me five points for every correct outcome. For every team whose score I predict exactly correct, I get an additional three points. Here’s how I’ve fared so far:
Sunday Score: 495
Winner/Loser picked correctly: 84/149
Week 13
San Francisco 49ers 27, Baltimore Ravens 31
I’m not falling for the speculation that this will be a low-scoring game. These two high-powered offenses should combine for one immense shootout ending in the Ravens’ favor.
Washington Redskins 16, Carolina Panthers 27
The Panthers have lost their last three, including two in the final minutes to the Packers and Saints, respectively. They will turn things around against the struggling Lions.
New York Jets 27, Cincinnati Bengals 20
Sam Darnold will continue to roll while Andy Dalton throws for a pair of scores in his return as starter. Say hello to a three-game winning streak for the New York Jets.
Tennessee Titans 24, Indianapolis Colts 20
I am suddenly buying into the Titans-for-wild-card conversation. In fact, I could even see them making a late push for the top spot in the AFC South, knocking off the Texans.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31, Jacksonville Jaguars 17
The NFC South is such a confusing division. First, the Saints were legit. Then, the Panthers. Next, for a quick stint, the Falcons. Now, it seems to be the Bucs. This is a big game for them.
Oakland Raiders 14, Kansas City Chiefs 27
The Chiefs are having an underrated season. A win over Oakland would prove to be immense in not only gaining separation in the AFC West but also destroying Oakland’s playoff aspirations.
Philadelphia Eagles 23, Miami Dolphins 17
The Eagles need to win this game. While I expect they will succeed, it could be closer than one would think it should be. We’ll see if Fitz can bring some magic or if Wentz prevails.
Green Bay Packers 17, New York Giants 13
I was extremely tempted to pick the Giants in this for an upset victory, but the forecasted snowstorm made it impossible to put more trust in inexperienced rookie, Daniel Jones, than in future Hall of Famer, Aaron Rodgers.
Los Angeles Rams 21, Arizona Cardinals 24
Speaking of upsets, the Cardinals could pull one off here in a divisional contest as they play spoiler against the Rams. Los Angeles is coming off a terrible loss at the hands of the Ravens last week.
Los Angeles Chargers 17, Denver Broncos 27
In a late-season matchup with no playoff implications, Drew Lock will make his NFL debut and snag the attention of the football world while completing a sweep of the still-mediocre Chargers.
Cleveland Browns 23, Pittsburgh Steelers 16
A rematch? Yes, please! We won’t see Myles Garrett, and Mason Rudolph isn’t slated to start, either. Nonetheless, this should be one crazy, physical, exciting matchup that could potentially impact the playoffs.
New England Patriots 31, Houston Texans 27
The Texans will make this game much closer than expected. Of course, in the end, the Patriots will hold on for a big Sunday night victory on the road.
