Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has become the top seller in the NFL, according to the NFLPA’s list of top-selling players.
The list ranks players based on sales from March 2019 to February 2020. It covers sales reports for all officially-licensed NFL player-identified merchandise. The merchandise includes game jerseys, shirts and hoodies, backpacks, wall decals, pennants, bobbleheads, collectible figurines, framed photos, and many more items.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady sits at No. 2 on the list. Brady has a record of 18 straight appearances in the top three since the list began in 2014. He had been No. 1 for the last three years.
Lamar Jackson, Ezekiel Elliot, Baker Mayfield, Aaron Rodgers, Odell Beckham Jr., Khalil Mack, Jimmy Garoppolo, and George Kittle round out the top 10 on the list.
Mahomes, the 2018 NFL MVP, helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl last season. Brady signed with the Buccaneers after 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and six titles.
Six players (Lamar Jackson, Jimmy Goroppolo, George Kittle, Russell Wilson, Leighton Vander Esch, and JuJu Smith-Schuster) had huge gains in sales.
Can someone surpass Mahomes on the list or will he be No. 1 for a while?
