The Oakland Raiders continue to revamp their receiving core. Now, they are adding wide receiver Ryan Grant, the team announced. Grant spent the 2018 season with the Indianapolis Colts after spending four years with the Washington Redskins.

Grant will join Antonio Brown, Tyrell Williams, and JJ Nelson in a completely revamped receiving core. Quarterback Derek Carr will have weapons to throw to next season, so there should be no excuses for him.
Last season with the Colts, Grant caught 35 passes for 334 yards and one touchdown. Grant’s best season came in 2017 when he caught 45 passes for 573 yards and four touchdowns with Washington. Throughout his career, Grant has 119 catches for 1,319 yards and seven touchdowns.
The signing of Grant has led the Raiders to release fellow wide receiver Seth Roberts, as Adam Schefter of ESPN reported.
Grant will likely continue to see targets in Oakland as a fourth receiver; he is also an excellent special teams player who has been used extensively for punt and kick coverage. This should prove to be another good wide receiver signing for Oakland.
