New England Patriots’ Schedule Announced

The New England Patriots have announced their schedule for the 2020 NFL season. They will have the toughest schedule in the NFL as they play seven games against teams that were in the playoffs last year — including both Super Bowl contenders.

The Patriots, led by Jarrett Stidham, will be playing the Miami Dolphins in New England in Week 1.

In Week 2, the Patriots will travel to Century Link Field to take on Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in Stidham’s first primetime game as a starter.

Then, the Patriots return back to Foxborough to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3.

In Week 4, they face their biggest test of the regular season against Patrick Mahomes and the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead.

In Week 5, the Patriots host Courtland Sutton and the Denver Broncos followed by a bye in Week 6.

A familiar face returns to New England for the first time in a new uniform as Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers roll into Foxborough in Week 7.

In Weeks 8 and 9, the Patriots go on a road trip to face their AFC East rivals in the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. The Patriots and Jets will be battling in primetime on Monday night.

They then come home to another big test in Week 10 against reigning MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in yet another primetime game.

In Week 11, the Patriots face Deshaun Watson and the Texans in Houston and then travel back to Foxborough in Week 12 for a matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

In Weeks 13, 14, and 15, the Patriots head on a road trip to play against both Los Angeles teams and wrap it up in their final matchup of the season with the Dolphins. The Week 14 clash with the Rams is a Thursday night game.

The Patriots finish their regular season with two games at home. In Week 16, they host the Buffalo Bills on Monday night before meeting up with the New York Jets in Week 17.

New England will have five total primetime games with two of them being on Monday night and one on Thursday night. While the Patriots have a tough road ahead of them this season, they should finish 10-6 with a strong chance at winning the AFC East.
