New England Patriots Re-Sign Nick Folk Prior to Battle with Chiefs

After a week where the team didn’t make any moves to replace recently cut kicker Kai Forbath, the Patriots have finally picked up a familiar face to take care of kicking duties Sunday.

It’s been speculated for the last few days but hadn’t been official until now. Nick Folk is back.

It would’ve been unheard of for a team to go into a game without a place kicker, but it was something that fans and experts alike were starting to believe considering the somewhat unorthodox nature of Bill Belichick when it comes to personnel decisions.

With Folk being brought back after recovering from his recent appendectomy, Patriots fans can rest easy knowing that their team won’t be risking it on every fourth down and going for a two-point conversion after every touchdown.

Although, that would’ve been fun to see.
