Welcome, dear NBA fans, to a brand new week. You guys are feeling undoubtedly recharged after that break from basketball action, right? Better hold on now. There’s no slowing down as the postseason is fast approaching.
Only four game-days are scheduled for this week, but three of those will have 10 or more contests. That’s still plenty of basketball to sort out.
Feb. 22: Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors
The last time these teams met back in January, it ended in a double-overtime win for the Lakers. Stephen Curry and LeBron James were the stars of the show, of course, and now we can’t wait to see them on the court again. These teams will face each other two more times after this week’s meeting.
Feb. 22: Phoenix Suns at Dallas Mavericks
Let us do a quick recap here. Luka Doncic scored 50 points when the Mavericks won the first meeting while Devin Booker scored 46 points as his Suns grabbed the win in the second showdown. These two players will really make their third and final regular-season matchup an interesting battle. Could we have another scoring outburst from any or both of them?

Feb. 23: San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Lakers
For fans of the Lakers, Victor Wembanyama’s last visit to Crypto.com Arena doesn’t really count because the Spurs were playing the Los Angeles Clippers back then. That’s why this particular date is extra special for them; it will be their only chance to host Wembanyama as he faces their beloved Lakers. This game, the third between these two teams, will also serve as the season-series tiebreaker.
Feb. 25: Milwaukee Bucks at Philadelphia 76ers
Look at the different storylines in this game. Coach Doc Rivers and Patrick Beverley will be visiting Philadelphia, a place they once called home. For the Sixers, it will be Tobias Harris and Cameron Payne facing their former team. Rivers will be extra motivated as he faces the guy who replaced him as Philadelphia’s coach, Nick Nurse, when he steps inside the arena. Wait for the “Doc versus Nurse” jokes to appear.

Feb. 25: Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors
The Nuggets have beaten the Warriors three times already and all games were close ones. How close? The Nuggets have one six-point win and two three-point wins. This has to irk Warriors coach Steve Kerr. How do they solve their “Denver” problem? The answer has to come soon, because to win the West, you might have to go through the defending champs.
