NBA DFS FAVE FIVE, March 8th, 2020

Josh Livi | March 8th, 2020

Happy Sunday everyone! We are back! Wow, we absolutely killed it! My apologies for the Draymond Green pick. He was questionable and had gone through practice. He was a late scratch. My bad there everyone! But, it’s a new day, new week, let’s get to it and win some big money!

Guard: Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks (DK-$10,800)

The Goat is averaging an absurd 56.7 fantasy points per game. He’s put up over 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games, including a monster game where he dropped a 73 spot for fantasy owners! Not much one can say about Doncic. He’s a star that makes everyone around him better. No matchup or price point will turn me away from him. Get him in your lineups.

Forward: Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics (DK-$9,500)

Ok, Tatum, you got my attention. This kid’s been balling as of late. He’s on a major hot streak and it’s time we start riding his hot streak. He is averaging over 42 fantasy points per game and over 50 in his last seven. That said, the small forward has been on a tear since the All-Star break and the matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder make this matchup even more enticing. We’re going to ride the hot streak till it stops!

Power Forward: Christian Wood, Detroit Pistons (DK-$7,900)

Who remembers when Wood was only $5,000? Ahh, yes. Those were the good old days. Wood has been crushing his career-high game after game. He is averaging over 40 fantasy points in his last seven games. To make his start for us even more clear here, he is facing the New York Knicks. The number one rule of DFS. The second is start players against P.J. Tucker. But, we’ll get to that later. Get Wood in your lineup and LOCK him in. He is my LOCK of the night!

Center: Julius Randle, New York Knicks (DK-$7,200)

Yes, I’m a Knicks fan. I have had Randle in my Fave Five almost every time the Knicks had or have a game. Randle is carrying the Knicks. The offense doesn’t run through anyone else, but Randle. Averaging 19.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists on the year, he gets the Pistons tonight. He and Wood are going to battle it out all night with both of them stuffing the stat sheet. Going to be a very sloppy game as both teams suck, but the stats are going to come!

Util: Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic (DK-$8,200)

Here we go! Here we have lesson number two of DFS. Start players against Tucker. It’s pretty obvious that Tucker can’t stop ANYONE!! Any team that faces Tucker and the Houston Rockets, pick on Tucker early and often. Besides the mouthwatering matchup, AG has been averaging a nice 32 fantasy points a game. AG recorded his fifth double-double in his last seven games, continuing his strong run of performances. The efficiency was far from ideal but that is nothing new for Gordon. Trust me on this one folks, you are not going to want to bench AG tonight.

That does it for this edition of Livi’s Fave Five! Hope you guys enjoy it and good luck! Let’s win some big money!
