NBA DFS FAVE FIVE, March 5th, 2020

Steph Curry MVP Case

Josh Livi | March 5th, 2020

Wow. We had a killer night last night. Thank you Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson. Only a four-game slate tonight so let’s find the best possible plays for tonight and help you win some money!

Guard: Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors (DK-$8,000)

Remember him? Well, he’s back! Curry is back after a lengthy absence of 58 games. Tonight he gets the Toronto Raptors in what should be a high scoring game with the lethal Curry back on the court. Pre-injury, Curry appeared in just four games, posting averages of 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.3 steals in 28.0 minutes during those contests. He might be on a heavy minutes restriction tonight but he can fill it up in a hurry!

Forward: Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets (DK-$5,700)

Bridges is averaging a nice 25.6 fantasy points per game. He is getting a crazy amount of minutes so he is able to put up some nice stats. He is averaging 13.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. The matchup tonight against the Denver Nuggets doesn’t look pretty, but I am expecting him to hover around his seasonal average of 25 fantasy points. He could even crack 30 fantasy points. He is my sleeper of the night!

Power Forward: Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors (DK-$6,300)

Yes, it’s time to stack the Warriors tonight. Draymond has been carrying the Warriors by himself the last two or so months because of Curry’s injury. Tonight, with Curry back, you can very well expect Draymond to play with an extra kick to his game. On the year, he is averaging 29 fantasy points per game. You can be sure that numbers going to rise thanks to Curry getting him the ball early and often now that he’s back! He is my LOCK of the night!

Center: Montrezl Harrell, Los Angeles Clippers (DK-$6,500)

Who can guess why Harrell is getting the start for me tonight? If you guessed because he is facing the Houston Rockets and P.J. Tucker, you are correct. That is the number one rule in NBA DFS Start players against the Rockets “big man”. Besides the mouthwatering matchup for Harrell tonight, he is averaging a hefty 33 fantasy points per game, and most notably coming off a game where 24 points and nine rebounds against Joel Embiid. So if he did that against Embiid, well, just see what he can do tonight against Tucker!!

Util: Damion Lee, Golden State Warriors (DK-$5,700)

Wow, heavy Warriors stack tonight. As we stated early, Curry could fill up the stat sheet in a hurry, but will be on a limited minutes restriction. Enter Lee. Lee has been putting up very solid numbers in Curry’s absence and could be the teams second scorer, after Andrew Wiggins. He is averaging 25 fantasy points per game and I expect him to hover around that tonight. His play will be based on how Curry is feeing tonight. The more minutes Curry gets, the less for Lee!

That does it for this edition of Livi’s Fave Five. Hope you enjoyed it and good luck! Let’s go win some money!
