NBA DFS: Fave Five for January 29th, 2020

Josh Livi | January 29th, 2020

We are back with my Fave Five for today! Six games tonight with a lot of star power, so let’s get right into it.

Guard: Damian Lillard, Trail Blazers (DK-$ 10,500) (FD-$ 9,700)

Lillard is on a crazy hot streak! Scoring 92 fantasy points, 74 fantasy points, and 80 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s been an insane scoring machine lately. Lillard has been the top fantasy option the past week and I don’t see him slowing down tonight against the Houston Rockets. Look for his hot streak to continue! Lock him into your lineups and enjoy the ride.

Forward: Marcus Morris Sr, Knicks (DK-$6,500) (FD-$ 5,600)

Morris here gets a good matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Ever since rookie-sensation RJ Barrett went down with an ankle injury, Morris has stepped up and has done everything he can to carry this dysfunctional team. Knicks aren’t good. It’s pretty obvious but the minutes Morris is getting, and the good matchup tonight for Morris makes him an intriguing play for me. Morris is averaging 31 fantasy points per game, so his ability to stuff the stat sheet is certainly there!

Power Forward: Domantas Sabonis, Pacers (DK-$9,400) (FD-$8,500)

Here we are going to get another star. Sabonis is an all-star and the top power forward play on the board tonight. He’s been lighting up all year. He’s been averaging a crazy 43.8 fantasy points per game this year! That equates to 18 points and 12.8 rebounds per game. Yes, he is averaging a double-double! Tonight he gets a matchup against the low ranked Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have NO ONE capable of stopping Sabonis. So expect an all-star like performance from Sabonis tonight.

Center: Jonas Valanciunas, Grizzlies (DK-$6,400) (FD-$7,100)

JV has been on a nice little roll as of late. Scoring over 40 fantasy points in three out of the last five games and gets a matchup against the Knicks tonight. That should already tell you why I have him listed here in my Fave Five. JV is gonna shred the Knicks tonight. He is getting tons of minutes and that’s proving to be great fantasy return. He is averaging 15 and 10, yes a double-double and watch for those numbers to only get better tonight. He’s my lock of the night!

Util: Brandon Clarke, Memphis Grizzlies (DK-$ 4,900) (FD-$ 4,500)

Clarke, similarly to JV, is purely a matchup based play. Gets the Knicks tonight and that means I’m starting Clarke. He’s been pretty productive from a fantasy point of view as well. Averaging 12 points, five rebounds. Good enough for 24 fantasy points per game. With the matchup tonight export those numbers to go up! He’s my sleeper pick of the night.

I hope you guys enjoyed this edition of Fave Five! Good luck! Be sure to read this before setting those DFS lineups!
