NBA DFS Fave Five: February 7th, 2020

Josh Livi  | February 7th, 2020

Ahh, the sweet smell of money!! We cashed in big last night thanks to Anthony Davis and Elfrid Payton! We got more games tonight and more money to be made! Let’s get to it!

Guard: Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies (DK-$6,200) (FD-$6,400)

Ja is playing out of his mind and making a strong case for rookie of the year. He is averaging 33.8 fantasy points per game and gets a matchup against Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. I think Ja is good enough to facilitate and make stuff happen if he can’t score. He is also severely underpriced for what he is doing. Off the bat, he is my LOCK of the night.

Forward: Davis Bertans, Chicago Bulls (DK-$5,400) (FD-$5,300)

Still trying to figure out why Bertans is so underpriced. He is averaging 27.6 fantasy points per game. He has one of the smoothest strokes in the NBA and is lighting it up from all around the court. He is coming off a game where he scored 19 points, even going 5-7 from the three-point line. He gets a nice matchup against the Dallas Mavericks and I expect him to continue his hot shooting. Keep him in your lineup until his price starts going up!

Power Forward: Christian Wood, Detroit Pistons (DK-$6,000) (FD-$7,300)

See ya later Andre Drummond. Drummond was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers during the trade deadline and that means Wood is about to go off!! He is coming off his best game of the year scoring 21 points, eight rebounds on 32 minutes. The stats will continue to go up as the season progresses, especially without Drummond there. Wood has the makes of a star, and he is my SLEEPER of the night! Get him in your lineup and enjoy the ride!

Center: Deandre Ayton, Phoenix Suns, (DK-$8,600) (FD-$8,800)

Let’s keep picking on P.J. Tucker, shall we? Last night I had AD as my center on my Fave Five list. He put up 70 fantasy points against the Houston Rockets “big man”. Tonight is the same story. The Suns are going to feed Ayton the ball early and often. He’s going to eat Tucker down low. Ayton is also averaging 41.4 fantasy points per game. Matchup here tonight is great. Get him in your lineups right now!

Util: Buddy Hield, Sacramento Kings (DK-$5,700) (FD-$5,300)

Hield gets a nice matchup here against the Miami Heat. Miami has given up 27.1 fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards. In their first matchup, Hield dropped 51.5 fantasy points against them! His average is 34.2 fantasy points per game. I think tonight he continues his dominance over the Heat and cracks 45 fantasy points. The minutes are there, and I truly believe the Heat will have a tough time handling this sharpshooter.

That does it for this edition of Fave Five! Let’s go win some money and good luck!
