Wow we had a sick night last night and hope you did too! We have nine big games to talk about, lots of star power on the board, and lots of hidden gems tonight. Let’s get to it and win some money!
Guard: Collin Sexton, Cleveland Cavaliers (DK-$6,500) (FD-$6,400)
Sexton is coming off a huge performance. He put up 29 points, seven assists, and two rebounds. The kid is balling at a very high level and getting as many minutes as he can handle. Tonight he gets a matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are giving up 26.7 fantasy points per game. While on paper that does not look good, or sound too enticing, with Sexton getting around 35-40 minutes a game, and at that price point, I see him getting 34-35 fantasy points tonight.
Forward: Danilo Gallinari, Oklahoma City Thunder (DK-$6,600) (FD-$6,000)
The sharp-shooting Gallinari is coming off his best offensive performance in two weeks. Scoring 27 points in 32 minutes. It’s good to see Galo let the ball fly again as he’s arguably one of the best shooters in the league. Galo is averaging. 19.2 points per game and 5.2 rebounds a game, good enough for 32.2 fantasy points per game. As long as OKC is in the playoff hunt, he’ll be getting tons of minutes and as long as he’s healthy, he’ll be putting up a nice stat line every night. He’s my SLEEPER of the night.
Power Forward: Marquese Chriss, Golden State Warriors (DK-$5,300) (FD-$5,500)
This is the first time I have Chriss in my Fave Five. Chriss has been on a nice little stretch as of late. Averaging 12 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks since January 24th. He is filling the stat sheet doing all the small things. He has scored at least 20 fantasy points in every game since January 20th. I like him here based on the matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. I like Chriss to continue his nice little stretch here, scoring double-digit points, and fantasy points tonight.
Center: Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves, (DK-$10,600) (FD-$10,100)
We are going to the best option at the center position tonight. Towns is a one-man wrecking machine for the Timberwolves. He has scored at least 50 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Tonight with a matchup against Iohn Collins and the Atlanta Hawks, I am expecting a similar return. Look for him to produce his usual double-double games. He’s my LOCK of the night. Plug him in and enjoy the ride.
Util: Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers, (DK-$5,300) (FD-$4,800)
Welcome back, Victor! Oladipo has just been cleared to increase his minutes to 24-28 minutes a game. He’s still a little rusty as his stats are showing. With minutes going up and the production slowly going up, tonight is a prime spot for him to have that breakout game. Last game he was feeling a lot more comfortable shooting the ball and getting to the hoop. I like him to crack 20 fantasy points tonight on his way to his best showing of the year.
