NBA DFS FAVE FIVE, February 27th, 2020

Josh Livi | February 27th, 2020

Before I begin, I want to thank Julius Randle and D’Angelo Russell for helping us win some big money!! Only four games tonight so let’s get right to it!

Guard: CJ McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers (DK-$9,000)

McCollum has been asked to put the offensive on his back due to the injury to Damian Lillard. McCollum is coming off a game where he dropped 28 points and 10 assists. He gets the Indiana Pacers tonight and I expect him to have a very similar performance. The Pacers will give up points to opposing guards and, that bodes well doe McCollum tonight. Look for him to put up 35-40 fantasy points tonight.

Forward: T.J. Warren, Indiana Pacers (DK-$6,000)

Warren is a very underrated player. He had a nice little hot streak going as of late before slumping against the Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets. He is averaging 28.6 fantasy points per game on the season and. With the matchup tonight, I am expecting a similar showing. He could possibly even crack 30 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers. No Jeremy Lamb for the Pacers, so Warren is going to get extended minutes!

Power Forward: Carmelo Anthony, Portland Trail Blazers (DK-$5,600)

Melo is finding his groove late in the season. He had one of his best games of the year against the Detroit Pistons, scoring 32 points. He fell back to the earth against the Boston Celtics. As mentioned previously, with no Lillard, the Trail Blazers need help on offense and Melo is going to do anything he can. I actually want to see him put on a show tonight against the Pacers. This is a bold call, but I see him cracking 40 fantasy points tonight.

Center: Julius Randle, New York Knicks (DK-$7,800)

Randle gets the start for me tonight for one reason and one reason only. Philadelphia 76ers star big man, Joel Embiid, left the game early last night with a shoulder injury and did not return. Randle is going to have a career game against the 76ers backup. To top it off, Randle has been one of the Knicks’ main offensive weapons all season long, and he has three double-doubles in his last four appearances. In eight starts in February, Randle is averaging 19.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game while shooting 46.5 percent from the field. Lock him in your lineup tonight!

Util: Josh Richardson, Philadelphia 76ers, (DK-$5,300)

J-Rich logged a team high 38 minutes but couldn’t do much with them. No Ben Simmons and no Embiid, the 76ers are going to give Richardson a ton of minutes. With Simmons missing, Richardson handles the ball at a much higher rate and is asked to operate as the team’s point guard in many situations. Look for him to bounce back tonight against the Knicks. We all remember that rule. START PLAYERS AGAINST THE KNICKS!! J-Rich going to absolutely shred them tonight and he is my sleeper of the night.

That does it for this edition of Livi’s Fave Five! I hope you guys enjoy it and good luck! Let’s go win some money!
