NBA DFS Fave Five: February 12th, 2020

Josh Livi | February 12th, 2020

Oh man, we absolutely killed it last night! We got a monster 11-game slate tonight. That can only mean one thing, studs. Lots and lots of studs. And some sleepers. Let’s dive into them and get to it!

Guard: D’Angelo Russell, Minnesota Timberwolves (DK-$8,300)

D-Lo is a star. No other way around it. The new dynamic duo of him and Karl Anthony Towns are going to make the T-Wolves a team to take seriously. D-Lo is coming off a splendid performance where he put up 22 points, five assists, and a steal in 32 minutes. The change of scenery should do wonders for the guy with “ice in his veins”. Tonight’s matchup can’t get any better for him against the Charlotte Hornets. Lock him in your lineup and watch him put on a show.

Small Forward: Bruce Brown, Detroit Pistons (DK-$5,500)

BB is getting close to 40 minutes a game. Yes, you read that correctly. He is doing everything he can to get the Pistons into the playoffs. He’s coming off one of his best games of the season. Putting up 10 points, 12 rebounds on 39 (!) minutes. Tonight’s matchup against the Orlando Magic should be a good one. The Magic are notorious for giving up big games to the small forward position. A lot of players on the board tonight, but BB is my SLEEPER of the night.

Power Forward: Christian Wood, Detroit Pistons (DK-$7,100)

Wood again on my Fave Five list? Yes. Wood is really performing at a very high level ever since Andre Drummond‘s departure. He can shoot the three-ball, score in the paint, block shots, hustle, and play up-tempo basketball. He can run up the court and keep up beautifully with other players. Coming off another double-double where he put up 17 points and 11 rebounds, I see no one on the Magic capable of stopping Wood. Just continue to enjoy the ride!

Center: Rui Hachimura, Washington Wizards, (DK-$5100)

We have two rules in fantasy basketball. Number one, the P.J. Tucker rule. That means you start any Center against him. Number two, the New York Knicks rule. You start any player you can against the Knicks. Hachimura is expected to get a lot of run because of the Thomas Bryant setback. Hachimura is going to be a handful for the pathetic Knicks. I’m expecting him to put up a monster stat line tonight, flitting with a double-double!

Util: Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks, (DK-$8,800)

Giannis Antetokounmpo (personal) is listed as out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers. That can only mean one thing, Middleton!! Middleton has been balling as of late, and the absence of Giannis only makes him more appealing. He’s averaging 37.3 fantasy points per game. A number I have no doubt will increase drastically tonight. He could possibly go for a triple-double in what should be a pretty easy win for the Bucks over the Indiana Pacers. Just listen and have him be the first person in your lineup!

That does it for this edition of Livi’s Fave Five! Hope you enjoyed it and good luck!!
