The 1-4 New York Jets face off against there undefeated division rival, New England Patriots. The good news for the Jets and everyone watching this game is that Sam Darnold is back. The bad news is they get to face the toughest defense in the league. Let’s take a look at the best players in this matchup.

Fanduel MVP & DraftKings Captain

Jamison Crowder (10,500 DK Captain, 7,000 DK, and 11,000 FD)

Crowder has been really good when Darnold is in at quarterback. He has 20 receptions in two games with Darnold, compared to eight receptions in three games with the backups. The Patriots are going to look to stop the deep threat in Robby Anderson. This should allow Crowder to get a lot of targets and do what Golden Tate did last week against the Patriots defense.

Flex Players

Tom Brady (11,600 DK and 15,500 FD)

Brady has been the most consistent quarterback in terms of fantasy. Other than the one outlier against the Buffalo Bills, he has scored 20+ points in every game this year. This will continue against a Jets defense that struggles in the secondary. With C.J. Mosley coming back for the Jets they should be able to stop the run forcing Brady to throw all night.

James White (7,400 DK and 10,000 FD)

White coming out of the backfield is one of Brady’s favorite targets. He has consistently gotten targets and receptions all year. With at least five receptions and seven targets in every game but one this year. With Rex Burkhead and Josh Gordon out for the game, he should see some more targets. If he can get in the end zone, he will be a great play. Even if he does not, he should still be able to get double-digit.

Players to Avoid

Sony Michel (7,800 DK and 13,500 FD)

The Jets were able to hold Michel to only seven carries for 11 yards in week three. That was without Mosley and he is expected to play. Last week against the New York Giants, Michel could not cash in on a touchdown even though they were on the goal line. Brady snuck in two touchdowns and Brandon Bolden got one. I would avoid Michel and look elsewhere in this game.

Robby Anderson (6,800 DK and 11,500 FD)

The Patriots have arguably the top two corners in the league. The Patriots defense typically does not allow big plays. They average only 8.6 yards given up per completion this year. Anderson is a deep threat and usually only has good games when he is able to make the big plays. I would not bet on him being able to catch the Patriots secondary sleeping in this game.

Game Predictions

The Jets were able to shock the Dallas Cowboys last week. That will not happen this week. The Patriots and Brady are just too good. This game will be close but Brady will be able to pull away in the fourth quarter. Patriots win 34-23 and Brady shows us again why he is the G.O.A.T.

Player Predictions

Crowder: 11 receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown.

Brady: 303 passing yards and three touchdowns.

White: Nine receptions for 87 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Michel: 47 rushing yards and no touchdowns.

Anderson: Three receptions for 42 yards.
