This week on Monday Night Football is a big divisional matchup out of the AFC West. The undefeated Las Vegas Raiders will head into SoFi stadium for the first time to face the Los Angeles Chargers. Let’s take a look at the top DFS players in this game.
DraftKings Captain
Hunter Renfrow (DK 8,600 | FD 9,500)
This game is likely going to be an offensive shootout. The Raiders are averaging 30 points per game with the Chargers averaging 22. In the Captain spot, you are going to need to save some salary and go with a cheaper skill player. That will allow you to afford both quarterbacks. Renfrow is a great cheap option while also being one of Derek Carr‘s favorite weapons to begin the season. If Renfrow can find the end zone, his value will be huge at Captain.
FanDuel MVP
Justin Herbert (DK 11,200 | FD 15,500)
Herbert after an excellent rookie season struggled his first two games off the season. However, he got things going last week and took down the defending AFC champions with a four-touchdown game. Herbert was also excellent versus the Raiders in two games last season. He threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in each game. Look for Herbert will use that momentum and put together another big game in tonight’s game.
Flex Plays
Derek Carr (DK 10,800 | FD 16,000)
Carr has been an MVP candidate to begin the season. Earlier this season, Carr took down the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night throwing for 435 yards and two touchdowns. In Monday Night games for his career, he is 5-2 with 10 touchdowns and 1,883 passing yards. Look for him to keep up his MVP season and have a big night.
Keenan Allen (DK 8,800 | FD 12,500)
Mike Williams has been excellent this year but Allen is still Herbert’s go-to guy. Allen has seen more targets and still has more receptions than Williams this season. Allen does, however, only have one touchdown to Williams four. Look for Allen to be the top-scoring receiver for the Chargers and find the end zone in this game.
