For the second week in a row, the Monday Night Football game features an excellent divisional matchup. This week the NFL-leading Arizona Cardinals host the Los Angeles Rams. The Cardinals are fighting for the No. 1 seed while the Rams need to win if they want any hope of winning the division. Let’s take a look at the top DFS players in this matchup.
DraftKings Captain
Sony Michel (DK 10,800 | FD 12,000)
With Darrell Henderson out for the second week in a row, Michel will again be the bell cow. He played 97 percent of the snaps while seeing 24 carries and four targets last week. Arizona’s defense is middle of the pack in terms of rushing yards allowed with 113 per game. They have also given up one rushing touchdown in each of their last three games. Save some money with Michel at Captain, and hopefully, he can find the end zone.
FanDuel MVP
Kyler Murray (DK 11,200 | FD 17,000)
Murray made his return from injury last week and picked up right where he left off. He had four total touchdowns and the injury did not seem like any concern as Murray ran for a season-high 59 yards. Murray also had a very good game against the Rams in their Week 4 meeting. He threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns en route to a 37-20 win. Murray should have a similar stat line tonight.
Flex Plays
Van Jefferson (DK 8,000 | FD 11,000)
Jefferson was primarily the deep threat at the beginning of the season. However, with the Robert Woods injury, Odell Beckham has taken over that role with Jefferson taking over Woods’ role. Jefferson has seen 17 targets the last two games and has a touchdown in each game. Look for Jefferson to have another solid night in this game.
Zach Ertz (DK 5,400 | FD 9,500)
Ertz only had one catch last week. However, the Cardinals led all game, and with the weather, Murray only attempted 15 passes. Before Murray got hurt, he and Ertz had already developed a connection. In his first two games in Arizona with Murray at quarterback, Ertz had seven catches, 108 yards, and a touchdown.
