Monday Night DFS: Week 3

Monday Night DFS plays Travis Kelce

Monday night’s football game is one of the most anticipated games of the NFL season. Especially since we didn’t get to see this game in the AFC Championship game last season like many expected. This matchup will feature the last two regular-season MVPs. Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. If you like high-scoring football games this will be the game for you. Currently, the over/under is set at 54.5 points. These teams will likely break that. High scoring games make DFS very fun. Let’s jump right into the top players for this AFC showdown.

DraftKings Captain

Mark Ingram (DK Captain $10,200 | DK $6,800 | FD $10,000)

With all of the flashy stars in this game, Ingram will be overlooked at the Captain spot. He comes in at a solid price and will be perfect for what you need out of him. The Chiefs defense has given up a good chunk of yards to running backs in both games this season. David Johnson ran for 77 yards against them on only 11 carries in the season opener. Last week, they let Joshua Kelley and Austin Ekeler run for a combined 157 yards. It’s no surprise that the Ravens are a running football team. Look for the Chiefs to dial in on stopping Lamar Jackson and that will open up holes for Ingram all game.

Value DraftKings Captain

Miles Boykin (DK Captain $5,100 | DK $3,400 | FD $7,000)

Boykin has started to get more involved in the passing game this season. He has seven receptions for 75 yards in two games thus far. He has also played more snaps than any other wide receiver on the Ravens. The Ravens will have to throw more in this game than they did in the two previous games. That will make Boykin a great value play and if you are looking for a cheap tournament play at the DraftKings Captain slot Boykin is that guy. Look for Boykin to make a big impact in this game and get his first touchdown of the season

FanDuel MVP

Travis Kelce (DK $10,000 | FD $13,000)

Out of all the top salary skill position players, Kelce has the highest floor. He is Mahomes go-to target. He proved that last week when he was targeted 14 times. Kelce will get his opportunities no matter what the score is. Kelce also has added a touchdown in both games this season. However, the Ravens defense has dominated so far this season, they have only allowed two touchdowns however, both were scored by tight ends. Look for Kelce to be the third tight end to score a touchdown against the Ravens this season.

Value Player

Demarcus Robinson (DK $3,000 | FD $7,000)

Robinson has big-play ability for the Chiefs. If this game is a shootout, Robinson will get plenty of opportunities to make an impact. The Ravens are going to focus on stopping Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs number two receiver Sammy Watkins is also questionable. If Watkins is out or he is limited, that sets up Robinson for even more opportunities. Look for Robinson to see plenty of deep shots in this game and convert a couple for some big yards.
