MLB DFS September 19: Late Night Value

MLB DFS September 19: Luke Voit

The MLB regular season is starting to wind down, but we are still out here making lineups for our DFS. Let’s end this season on a high note with some late-night value picks.

Charlie Morton ($7,600)

Morton is a solid selection as he is facing a very bad Baltimore Orioles lineup. The Orioles have a .275 OBP this past week. Morton is starting to pick things up as he is coming back from the IL. His pitch count is starting to increase so expect him to go deep in this game. He hasn’t faced the Orioles this season, but Morton was 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA with 18 Ks in 13 IP last season.

Luke Voit ($4,500)

There is no reason you shouldn’t pick Voit here, especially since he is facing a horrible Red Sox pitching staff. The Sox have a league-worst 5.91 ERA and have given up a league-leading 87 HRs this season. Voit owns a slash of .313/.320/.771 in his last 50 PA. Add in seven home runs in that stretch and you have an easy and cheap selection for your lineups today.

Cody Bellinger ($4,400)

Again, it’s all about value here. While Bellinger has not been in his normal MVP state this season, he did go 3-5 with a home run last night and he is playing at Coors Field tonight. We will ride the hot hand, but this pick is more focused on the ballpark he is playing at. He is also 10-29 with three bombs against the Colorado Rockies this season.
