The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to even up the series 2-2. The Atlanta Braves will be looking to get within one game of their first World Series appearance in the 21st century. Something has to give. Let’s take a look at the players to have in your lineup tonight for MLB DFS for October 15.
Captain
Marcell Ozuna ($10,500)
Ozuna eats up lefties to the tune of a 1.330 OPS this season with seven HRs in 54 PAs. While he may not be the sexiest pick as your Captain, he certainly saves you some cash and is always a threat to go yard. He was my pick for series MVP, which isn’t looking good, but I’ll stick with him nonetheless.
Utility Options
Taking Ozuna at the Captain spot will allow you to grab Corey Seager ($9,400), Max Muncy ($9,000), and Cody Bellinger ($8,800). That is a solid stack of lefties against right-handed starter Bryse Wilson. If you are going with a Dodgers stack like that, you can still afford Christian Pache ($4,000), batting ninth, and pair him with Freddie Freeman ($8,200). Along with Ozuna you then have 9-2-3 in the Braves lineup.
You could also replace Seager with Justin Turner ($9,800) and then replace Freeman with Travis d’Arnaud ($7,600) to get the cleanup hitter in the Braves lineup.
Off the Wall Option
Put Pache as your Captain at only ($6,000) and throw Johan Camargo ($5,000) in your lineup so you have the eighth and ninth hitters from the Braves. You can then afford, Mookie Betts ($11,000), Turner, Muncy, and Bellinger. That also gives you the option to go with Seager instead of Muncy or Turner.
Conclusion
You should have some combo of Dodgers hitters in there as well as a small stack of Braves bats. Tonight’s pitchers are tough to trust with Clayton Kershaw coming off injury and Wilson likely not lasting more than four innings.
