Baseball is finally back. So are our chances to win some money. Tonight we have two games to choose from as the Washington Nationals host the New York Yankees at 7 PM ET. The Los Angeles Dodgers will then host the San Francisco Giants at 10 PM ET. Let’s break down who we want in our lineups tonight in our debut edition of Locks, Stacks, and Barrels.

Locks
Clayton Kershaw ($7,700) – Everything falls into place for Kershaw today. He has the lowest ERA of any pitcher on Opening Day since 1913 (min. six starts) at 1.05. He also LOVES facing the Giants. In 342.1 innings against the NL West rivals, Kershaw has a minuscule 1.74 ERA. Speaking of the Giants lineup…
It Stinks! No Buster Posey or Brandon Belt. Hell…they don’t even have Bruce Bochy anymore. Considering Kershaw is cheaper than Gerrit Cole and Max Scherzer, he is the man on the mound to roll with tonight.
Stacks
Los Angeles Dodgers – Let’s run with this game shall we? Johnny Cueto is the worst of the four starters tonight. He’s pitched a total of 69 innings (nice) in the last two years and in that time has given up 11 HRs. Corey Seager ($4,400), Cody Bellinger ($5,100), and Justin Turner ($4,100) are a combined .354/.384/.610 against Cueto with 19 runs scored. Expect the Dodgers to come out swinging.
Barrels
Edwin Rios ($3,800) – The big guy showed some monster power. With Gavin Lux not on the active roster, the door is open for Rios to step into the DH role or play a little first base if LA decides to give Max Muncy the nod at second. If Rios is in the lineup tonight, he is worth a shot especially at $800 cheaper than Muncy.
Mauricio Dubon ($3,100) – Dubon is worth a flier also especially if you need to keep costs down to get some other studs in your lineup. The kid has talent and showed it in his cup of coffee last year with the Giants slashing .279/.312/.442 with four HRs and three SBs. He has only faced Kershaw twice but has a double and a HR off the Dodgers’ lefty.
Starlin Castro ($3,700) – The former Yankee may be hitting in the middle of the Nationals lineup tonight. He is listed as a third baseman on DK but offers upside if he bats third between Eaton and possibly Thames now that Soto will miss a few weeks. Not that facing Cole will be a cakewalk, but Castro is actually 6-17 against him in his career. Castro also ended last season on a minor HR tear, belting nine in the final 35 games. Definitely worth a shot at that price.
