MLB DFS August 15: Pitchers, Sluggers, and Stacks

MLB DFS August 15: Lucas Giolito

What a wild season we have had so far. Hopefully, everyone has had great success this season. Let’s continue the winning ways with some pitchers, sluggers, and stacks.

Pitchers:

German Marquez ($8,300)

The Rockies are playing the Rangers today, who have scored the least amount of runs of any team in the AL. With how good the Rockies offense is, and with just how bad overall the Rangers are, Marquez should be given plenty of run support to work with tonight.

Lucas Giolito ($10,800)

He is a little pricy today but for good reason. The big righty struck out nine in seven innings against the Cleveland Indians his last time out. This time he will be facing the St. Louis Cardinals, who have not played in two weeks. With the entire team almost in quarantine the whole time, expect the Cardinals offense to struggle against Giolito tonight.

Sluggers:

Franmil Reyes ($4,100)

Reyes has finally woken up this season. He now has three straight multi-hit games and the power is starting to come. He has raised his average over .300 and has had some clutch home runs for the Indians late in games this year. Going up against an overperforming Tigers team can really help boost his numbers.

Stacks:

The Chicago White Sox

I mentioned it with Giolito, the White Sox are playing the Cardinals, a team that has not played in two weeks. It seems like the White Sox are starting to find their stride. Combine that with the Cardinals being rusty, and the Sox lineup should be able to put some runs on the board.
