Jose Abreu Chicago White Sox
Baseball Twitter has been very adamant about getting the White Sox some acknowledgment on ESPN, Jeff Passan finally delivered.
And they say ESPN never gives the White Sox any love … pic.twitter.com/ZF9VUCXUJ5

Just as important, in my American League predictions, I was on the south siders bandwagon from the beginning. They are in a tight race in the American League Central, just a half a game out of first.
Abreu certainly made an impact as he had a league-leading eight home runs, including five in two games to go along with 16 RBI to help him earn player of the week
Manny Machado Slam Diego Padres
The Padres certainly made some news last week. Machado’s first year in San Diego would be good for most players, but when you’re getting paid $300 Million, more is expected.
He’s playing much better in his second season with the friars and this past week proved it; his three home runs, nine RBI, and nine runs earned him National League Player Of The Week.
Kyle Lewis Seattle Mariners
Let’s all welcome back Lewis, the young center fielder has made a quick impact in his first full season.
Lewis had a hit in every game last week which allowed him to lead the American League in average (.519) and on-base percentage (.618).
Looks like we’re going to see this man’s name for a very long time.
Luke Voit New York Yankees
Although he didn’t’ get to play over the weekend due to the positive Covid-19 tests in the Mets clubhouse, Voit still put up the numbers to be on this article.
In all four games he played this week he went deep including a muti-home run game, he also led the league in slugging percentage (1.571).
