Manchester United are going to the Champions League. A 2-0 win in a last-chance match against Leicester City allowed the Red Devils to finish third in this season’s Premier League table.
Manchester United will join Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea in next season’s Champions League tournament.
After missing out on this season’s Champions League, the Red Devils were determined to avenge their failure. Their mission would not be easy as they’ve had a rollercoaster of a season in Premier League play. The club would shift from positive to negative results, thus building a reputation of being a team that is completely unpredictable.

Back in January, Manchester United were sitting 14 points below Leicester City. In addition, eight games into this season, the Red Devils were sitting in 14th place and they were in total disarray as well as riddled with injuries. Furthermore, the club was at risk of falling into the relegation zone.
On Jan. 30, midfielder Bruno Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford. Since the arrival of Fernandes, the Red Devils went undefeated in their remaining 14 games of Premier League play.
In his 14 appearances, Fernandes has scored a total of eight goals, playing a major role in Manchester United completing their mission of successfully qualifying and finishing in the top four and booking their ticket to next season’s Champions League. Fernandes has proven that he has a bright future at Old Trafford. He and Paul Pogba have the potential of forming a unique dynamic midfield duo that can spark the offensive attack in the future.
Next Wednesday, Manchester United will continue their Europa League campaign. They have the second leg of the Round of 16 clash with LASK. This game will be at Old Trafford, so Manchester United can advance comfortably on home soil.
The Red Devils are one of the favorites to win the Europa League tournament. Hoisting the title will only boost their confidence going into next season. In other words, it would brighten up their future.
At this point, it’s all about positivity for the club.
