Chris Mack and his Louisville coaching staff got a big get this weekend, with the commitment of graduate transfer Carlik Jones. The former Radford Highlander, Jones earned Big South Player of the Year accolades averaging 20 points per game, along with 5.1 rebounds to go along with 5.5 assists. He was a first-team All-Big South selection during the 2018-19 season as well.

Jones, who made his announcement via Instagram, chose the Cardinals over Maryland and Michigan State. The 6-foot-1 guard should start immediately for the Cardinals. Mack lost seniors Lamarr Kimble, Ryan McMahon, Dwayne Sutton, and Steven Enoch and is expected to lose All-American forward Jordan Nwora to the draft.
