Rapoport claims sources have told him that Edelman is, ‘Less banged-up’ than in week’s prior which should be cause for huge sighs of relief from Patriots fans across New England.
Edelman’s health and status for games is detrimental to the team’s success. If the Kent State alum cannot play, it leaves Mohamed Sanu or N’Keal Harry to deal with other team’s best cornerbacks. This makes quarterback Tom Brady’s already difficult job much harder than it has been this season.
When Edelman is on the field, he is more than likely to draw double coverage and or a team’s best cover corner. This leaves the receivers below the depth chart with more ideal competition.
The Patriots take on the Bills tomorrow at 4:30 p.m.
