The first impending free agent kicker has a contract: the Jaguars are bringing back Josh Lambo.

The terms of the contract have not been reported yet.
When he was with the Chargers, Lambo was a kicker who would make you hold your breath whenever he came out for a kick, as displayed by the 81.3 percent rate at which he hit field goals in 2015 and 2016 in San Diego.
However, things changed when he went to Jacksonville, where he has connected on 95 percent and 90.5 percent of field goals in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
Lambo was 19-for-21 on field goals in 2018, with both of his misses coming on attempts of more than 40 yards.
Meanwhile, Lambo was nearly perfect on extra point attempts, going 19-for-20, which comes out to a 95 percent rate.
Although Lambo has made just 23 appearances in two seasons with the Jaguars compared to his perfect rate of 32 games in two years with the Chargers, the Jacksonville front office clearly sees their kicker as one of their bright spots as portrayed by the extension.
