Heller’s Week 10 Picks

Last week was a miserable week for my picks as I posted a 6-8 record for my first sub-.500 week this season. On the bright side, my Dolphins and Ravens upset picks made me feel a little better.

Here are my picks for Week 10. I’m going with five upset picks this week.

Chargers 27, Raiders 24

Philip Rivers and the Chargers’ offense looked much improved last week in their win over tree Packers. On the defensive side, Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram will be in the face of Derek Carr all night.

UPSETLions 24, Bears 17

Matthew Stafford will have a big game against the Bears. Mitchell Trubisky will play better than he did a week ago, but his team will come up short.

Ravens 41, Bengals 20

Lamar Jackson will have another big game. Coach Harbaugh might even pull him in the final quarter. The Bengals will go yet another week without that elusive first win for the team and head coach Zac Taylor.

Chiefs 31, Titans 24

Early reports say Patrick Mahomes could start. If that is the case, Tennessee’s only chance in this game is to give Derrick Henry 20-plus carries and keep Mahomes off the field. If Henry is successful, this could be the upset of the week, but I’m not confident enough to pick it that way.

Bills 24, Browns 21

Josh Allen will again make enough plays to lead his team to another victory, while Baker Mayfield and the Browns will come out on the losing end … again.

Falcons 13, Saints 30

Drew Brees will have another MVP-caliber performance; I see him throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. The Falcons will continue their season-long struggles to put points on the board.

Giants 17, Jets 17

Seeing ghosts versus black cats and bad luck. I don’t see one team having much of an edge over the other unless Saquon Barkley or Le’Veon Bell can post a big game for their respective teams.

Cardinals 28, Buccaneers 27

Jameis Winston will make a costly mistake late in this game. Kyler Murray will drive his team down the field to set up a game-winning field goal.

Dolphins 13, Colts 27

Early indications say Jacoby Brissett despite start after suffering an MCL sprain last week. Even if he doesn’t play, the Colts will end Miami’s winning streak at one.

UPSET: Panthers 28, Packers 20

Christian McCaffrey will add on to his case for MVP with another 150-plus yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers will have a better game than last week, but it won’t be enough for the Packers.

Rams 27, Steelers 20

This game will be back-and-forth for a while, but Jalen Ramsey will get an interception late in the game to seal the victory for the Rams.

UPSET: Vikings 34, Cowboys 30

The combination of Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins will make enough plays to defeat the Cowboys.

UPSET: Seahawks 24, 49ers 20

Russell Wilson, who has been solid in recent weeks, will continue to do so against the lights-out defense of the 49ers. The Seahawks will upset the 49ers in San Francisco with a late-game takeaway.

Gates Top NFL Team From Week 11 (2024)

Week 11 in the NFL brought more chaos, with at least five games on Sunday being decided by a single score. Notably, the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts won their games by just one point. As a result of their performance, the Buffalo Bills have earned the title of our NFL Team of the Week for the second time this season, having previously received this honor in Week 8.
