Speculation about Rob Gronkowski’s attendance to minicamp has now been put to rest as the New England Patriots tight end announced that he will indeed be attending the mandatory gathering.

Rob Gronkowski confirmed this to CBS Boston reporters in a story published within the hour.

“We’ve got mandatory minicamp this week. So I’ll be there this week,” Gronkowski said. I’ll be full go. I’m looking forward to it. Can’t wait to get back to work. I’m excited.”

Mandatory minicamp commences on June 5 and will conclude two days later on the 7th.

Two days before Gronkowski is set to take the field for the first time with his new and old teammates, the tight end has definitely been keeping busy as he held his annual “Buzz Off” charity event.
