Former Patriots Running Back Passes Away

It is a sad day for New England Patriots fans as the team has lost another past member.

Former running back Larry Garron reportedly passed away today. He was 82-years-old.

The team posted on their social media honoring one of the players that started it all for them.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of former Patriots running back Larry Garron, an original member of the Boston Patriots from 1960 through the 1968 season: https://t.co/SkINXi0vpO

Garron was on the team when the Patriots were first founded in 1960. He was a four-time AFL All-Star for the then Boston Patriots playing from 1960 to 1968. He was named to Patriots’ 1960’s All-Decade team.

The team also lost former linebacker Nick Buoniconti on July 30. Both men will be missed.
