Former Georgia QB Fromm selected by the Bills

Jake Fromm is finally leaving his home state of Georgia.

The three-year starter at Georgia is heading to Buffalo, where he hopes to compete for a starting role. He led Georgia to three straight SEC championship games and a national championship appearance while in Athens, and compiled at 36-8 record.

Fromm’s college stats don’t jump off the page, but last season he finished with 2,860 yards with 24 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Fromm’s biggest question mark is his arm strength, as he doesn’t project to be a guy with a massive arm. However, his decision-making is above average, and he takes care of the football.

Fromm will enter a win-now situation with the Bills, where he figures to have John Brown, Cole Beasley, and Dawson Knox at his disposal if he is under center.
