Dak Prescott Over 306.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Despite not playing a snap in almost a year, Prescott played some of the best football of his career last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dak went toe for toe with Tom Brady, completing 42 of his 58 pass attempts (72.4 percent) for 403 yards and three touchdowns against a tough Tampa Bay defense. Furthermore, in his four healthy games last season, Prescott averaged 422.5 passing yards per game, throwing for 450 or more in three of them. Meanwhile, the Chargers held the Washington Football Team quarterbacks to only 135 passing yards last week. However, Ryan Fitzpatrick left the game early with a hip injury. Prescott could have over 400 passing yards for the ninth time in his career in this game.

Keenan Allen Over 78.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

In Week 1, Washington had no answer for Allen as he caught nine of his 13 targets for 100 receiving yards. Last season, Allen was close to unstoppable with Justin Herbert under center. In 13 such games, Allen averaged 73.5 receiving yards per game, finishing with over 95 receiving yards in five of them. Meanwhile, the Cowboys couldn’t stop a nose bleed, let alone the Buccaneers’ passing attack last week, giving up 250 receiving yards to their wide receivers. Furthermore, the Cowboys gave up an average of 175.4 receiving yards to wide receivers in 2020. The Cowboys won’t have an answer for Allen, and he should have his second straight game with 100 or more receiving yards this afternoon.

Ezekiel Elliott Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

As great of a player Elliott is, the Buccaneers’ have the best run defense in the NFL. Last week they held Zeke to only 33 rushing yards on 11 attempts. Furthermore, the Buccaneers held running backs to only 52.1 rushing yards per game last season, the lowest in the league. However, Zeke should bounce back this afternoon against the Chargers. Last week, the Chargers gave up over 100 rushing yards and 4.7 yards per rushing attempt to the Washington running backs. Furthermore, running backs averaged over 88 rushing yards per game against the Chargers last season. After a disappointing performance on opening night, Zeke is more likely to finish this game with over 100 rushing yards than under 60.

Justin Herbert Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-215)

Coming off winning Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2020, Herbert continued to prove why he is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. Last week against a tough Washington defense, Herbert threw for 337 passing yards, completing 31 of his 47 pass attempts. Furthermore, Herbert averaged 2.1 passing touchdowns per game, throwing two or more in 67 percent of his contests as a rookie. Moreover, Herbert had more games with three or more passing touchdowns (six) than games with under two (five) last season. Meanwhile, the Cowboys gave up four touchdowns to Brady in Week 1 and an average of 2.1 per game last year. While paying -215 is far from an ideal payout, if it’s all but a lock to hit, it’s a bet worth placing.

Dalton Schultz Over 3.5 Receptions (+125)

Entering the 2020 season, Schultz was an afterthought. However, when Blake Jarwin went down with a torn ACL in Week 1, Schultz stepped up massively. From Week 2 through the end of the 2020 season, Schultz averaged 4.1 receptions per game, catching over 3.5 in 67 percent of those contests. Furthermore, last week against a tough Tampa Bay defense, Schultz caught all six of his targets. He also has a firm grasp on the starting role, playing 11 percent more of the snaps than Jarwin in Week 1. Meanwhile, the Chargers allowed tight ends to average 4.3 receptions per game against them last season. With Michael Gallup out for the next several weeks, someone will need to step up in his place, and that someone is Schultz.
