Tonight we have the last Thursday night game of the 2020 NFL season as the 4-9 Los Angeles Chargers take on the 7-6 Las Vegas Raiders in a divisional battle of AFC West teams. These two teams faced off in Week 9, with the Raiders pulling out the 31-26 victory. The Raiders are fighting for their playoff lives while the Chargers are hoping to play spoilers.
The team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place? Here are my five favorite prop bets for tonight’s game.

Justin Herbert Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-182)
After a couple of awful games against the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, Herbert bounced back last week against the Atlanta Falcons, throwing two touchdowns in a victory. It marked the eighth time this season Herbert has thrown two or more touchdowns. Furthermore, Herbert is averaging just over two passing touchdowns per game this season. Meanwhile, the Raiders have been awful defending the pass recently, giving up two or more passing touchdowns in eight of their last 10 games, including four straight. Even more embarrassing, the Raiders gave up two passing touchdowns to Sam Darnold two weeks ago. Herbert threw two touchdowns in the Week 9 matchup and should have no problem throwing at least two in this game.
Nelson Agholor Over 4.5 Receptions (+100)
Tonight the Raiders won’t have Henry Ruggs as he was placed on the Covid-19 list, opening the door for more targets for Agholor. After struggling in Philadelphia for years, Agholor has found a home in Las Vegas. Over his last four games, Agholor is averaging five receptions per game, bringing in at least five in all but one. Furthermore, over the first nine games of the season, Agholor averaged 3.2 targets per game, compared to 8.8 over his last four games. Meanwhile, the Chargers gave up 15 receptions to the Falcons’ wide receivers last week, minus Julio Jones. Agholor has turned into Derek Carr‘s go-to wide receiver, and he should hit the over on this prop before the start of the fourth quarter.
Austin Ekeler Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
Ekeler has battled injuries this season, missing six games because of a high-ankle sprain. However, when Ekeler has been on the field, he has been a consistent threat in the passing game. Removing the Week 1 game with Tyrod Taylor under center and the Week 4 game where Ekeler played only six percent of the snaps, he is averaging 64.6 receiving yards per game. Furthermore, Ekeler has at least 55 receiving yards in all but one of those games. Ekeler is averaging eight receptions and 61.3 receiving yards per game since returning from the ankle injury and should have no trouble matching those averages against the Raiders.
Derek Carr Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-182)
Over the last three weeks, Carr has played some of the best football of his career. Removing the nightmare performance against the Falcons, Carr has two or more passing touchdowns in every game since Week 11. Furthermore, Carr has thrown two or more passing touchdowns in almost 70 percent of his games this season, including five over the last two games. Meanwhile, the Chargers are giving up an average of just under two passing touchdowns per game this season. They have given up two or more passing touchdowns in six of their last eight games, including two to Carr in Week 9. Even without Ruggs, don’t be surprised if Carr throws two touchdowns in this contest.
Keenan Allen to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+100)
Entering the season, some questioned if Allen could put up the same stats now that Philip Rivers is in Indianapolis. However, Herbert has been excellent for Allen, as he is second in the league in receptions with 99. Allen has also turned into a touchdown machine, matching his career-high eight receiving touchdowns with three games remaining. Furthermore, Allen has scored a touchdown in six of his last seven games, including against the Raiders in Week 9. Meanwhile, the Raiders have been slaughtered by wide receivers recently, giving up at least one receiving touchdown to the position in nine of their last 10 games. They have given up two receiving touchdowns to wide receivers in three straight games. With his recent success, expect Allen to score at least once tonight.
