Ladies and gentlemen we have done it. We have made it through every NFL game this season without a single cancellation because of Covid-19. In two days, Super Bowl 55 between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs will wrap up the 2020 season. Everyone has an opinion on the Moneyline, spread, or total, but prop bets are where you can get creative and win some money. Which are the best prop bets for Super Bowl 55? Let’s dive into my five favorite prop bets for this game.

Travis Kelce & Chris Godwin to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+295)
Usually, DraftKings doesn’t offer prop parlays but for the Super Bowl, they have several good ones. Kelce and Godwin are Pro Bowl talents and both co-number one weapons for their respective offense. During the regular season, Godwin scored a touchdown in 50 percent of his games while Kelce scored in 67 percent of his. Furthermore, both have scored during the playoffs, with Kelce totaling three touchdowns in two games. Gamblers should feel good about this bet as both Kelce and Godwin’s targets per game have increased by three per game from the regular season to the postseason. Expect both to be targeted plenty on Sunday and find the end zone.
Leonard Fournette Over 22.5 Rushing Yards in the First Half (-112)
In the three playoff games, Fournette has played 68 percent or more of the snaps in each one, averaging 74 percent game. More importantly, Fournette had 12 or more rushing attempts in every game, averaging 16 per contest. Not only is he getting the snaps and touches, but Fournette is making the most of them. In the three playoff games, Fournette averaged 41.3 rushing yards per game in the first half, totaling 30 or more in each game. The Buccaneers know the best way to slow down the Chiefs’ offense is to keep Patrick Mahomes on the sideline and run the ball, so expect Fournette to hit the over on this prop early in the second quarter.
Sammy Watkins to Score the First Touchdown of the Game (+2000)
Will this cash? Maybe. But, at 20-1 payout, it’s worth throwing a few bucks down. After missing Week 17 and all the playoff games so far, Watkins says he is 100 percent healthy and ready for Sunday. Watkins had only two touchdowns this season and hadn’t scored since Week 5. However, when these two teams faced off in Week 12, Watkins had four receptions on seven targets for 38 receiving yards. More importantly, the Buccaneers’ defense got destroyed by Tyreek Hill. While it is Tom Brady‘s 10th Super Bowl, the Buccaneers’ defense is young and lacks playoff experience. There is a scenario where the Buccaneers’ defense is so focused on not getting embarrassed by Hill and Kelce, that Watkins slips free downfield for an easy touchdown to start the game.
Tom Brady Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-230)
The payout is far from ideal but like I’ve said in the past, it doesn’t matter if the bet is a lock to hit. During the regular season, Brady averaged 2.5 passing touchdowns per game and finished second in the league with 40. He threw two or more in 81 percent of his games, including 10 straight games to close out the regular season. Then in the playoffs, he has thrown two or more in every game. Meanwhile, the Chiefs gave up two or more passing touchdowns in seven straight games to close out the regular season. Brady threw three touchdowns in the matchup earlier this season against the Chiefs and should have no trouble throwing two or more this time around.
Tyreek Hill & Mike Evans to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+260)
To close out the article I have another prop parlay. In the Week 12 matchup between these two teams, there were six total touchdowns in the game. The duo or Hill and Evans combined for five of them. Hill got off to that monster first quarter, totaling 203 receiving yards and two touchdowns as the Chiefs had a 17-0 lead after 15 minutes of play. Much like Kelce and Godwin, Hill and Evans were consistent scoring threats during the regular season. Hill scored in 73 percent of his games while Evans scored in 63 percent of his. Both passing attacks filter through their two star receivers, so expect all four to score on Sunday.
