Tonight we have a matchup between NFC North division rivals as the 5-5 Chicago Bears head to Green Bay to take on the 7-3 Packers. Both teams need this win in their fight for the playoffs. If the Bears fall below .500, they will likely miss the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Packers need the win to stay in the hunt for the first-round bye.
While the team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place? Here are my five favorite prop bets for tonight’s game.

Aaron Rodgers Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+140)
After a disappointing 2019 season, Rodgers has bounced back this season. He is averaging 2.9 passing touchdowns per game, throwing at least two in all but one game. Furthermore, Rodgers has thrown three or more touchdowns in 60 percent of his games, including four of his last five. Meanwhile, the Bears haven’t given up three or more passing touchdowns this season. However, they have given up two in four straight games against Jared Goff, Drew Brees, Ryan Tannehill, and Kirk Cousins. If those four quarterbacks can each throw two touchdowns on this defense, Rodgers should have no trouble throwing three.
David Montgomery Over 51.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
Montgomery missed the Week 10 game against the Vikings with a concussion but passed the NFL’s concussion protocol during the bye week and is ready to go for tomorrow’s game. He’s back just in time to take on the Packers, who have one of the worst run defenses in the league. They are giving up an average of 101.8 rushing yards per game to running backs. Furthermore, they have given up 70 or more rushing yards to running backs in 80 percent of their games this season. Don’t be surprised if Montgomery goes over this prop before halftime.
Davante Adams Over 6.5 Receptions (-150)
There isn’t a better wide receiver in the league right now than Adams. He is averaging 8.5 receptions per game and has at least six in every game he has played from start to finish this season. Furthermore, since the embarrassing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, Adams has at least seven receptions in every game, averaging nine per game over the last five weeks. Meanwhile, the Bears gave up eight receptions on 11 targets for 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns to Adam Thielen last week. Adams averages over 11 targets per game this season, and he is more likely to hit the over on their prop bet before halftime than finish the game with under seven receptions.
Mitchell Trubisky Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+130)
Back from the dead? Maybe not, but Trubisky will get the start tonight as Nick Foles is dealing with a hip injury he suffered two weeks ago. Before Trubisky’s benching, he had thrown five touchdowns in the two games he played from start to finish. Meanwhile, the Packers are giving up an average of 1.7 passing touchdowns per game. They have given up two or more passing touchdowns in 60 percent of their games this season. Last week Philip Rivers threw for three touchdowns against the Packers, and Trubisky should have plenty of opportunities to throw two tonight.
Robert Tonyan Over 38.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Other than Adams, the Packers have lacked a consistent pass catcher this season. However, Tonyan has shown up when needed. Over his last eight games, Tonyan has at least 32 receiving yards in 75 percent of them. Furthermore, he has 40 or more receiving yards in half of those games. Meanwhile, the Bears give up an average of 54.7 receiving yards per game to tight ends. They have given up at least 50 receiving yards to the position in four straight games. Rodgers can’t throw every ball to Adams, so expect Tonyan to finish tonight’s game with at least 50 receiving yards.
