Fanelli’s Fave Five Prop Bets for MNF: Chicago Bears vs. Los Angeles Rams

aaron donald

What a wild Sunday of football! To cap off the great day of games, the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals gave us an extra 10 minutes of exciting football last night. Unfortunately, if you backed the Seahawks on the Moneyline as I did, they let you down not once, not twice, but three f*cking times. However, it’s a new day, and we have a good matchup tonight as the Chicago Bears head out west to take on the Los Angeles Rams.

The team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place for tonight’s game? Here are five prop bets gamblers should consider placing.

Be sure to place your bets with Jazz Sportsbook for the best odds and excellent promotions.

Aaron Donald Over 0.5 Sacks (-225)

Let’s start the bets off with a little defense. Donald is, without a doubt, the best defensive player, if not overall, in the league. Entering tonight’s game, Donald is second in the league with 7.5 sacks over six games. He is only 1.5 sacks behind Myles Garrett, who has nine in seven games. Furthermore, Donald has been on a roll recently, registering 6.5 sacks over his last four games. Meanwhile, the Bears have given up at least one sack in five of six games this season. To make things worse for the Bears, star offensive guard James Daniels went on injured reserve with a torn pectoral injury last week. Expect Donald to take over the NFL league leader in sacks title tonight.

David Montgomery Over 23.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

This prop has hit every week since Nick Foles took over as the starting quarterback, and until it fails, we’re going to keep taking advantage of it. Before Foles took over as the starting quarterback, Montgomery was averaging two catches for 21 yards per game. However, in the three games Foles has started, Montgomery is averaging 4.7 catches for 33 yards per game. Meanwhile, the Rams have been tough on the running game this season. They have held running backs to under 90 rushing yards in three of their last four games. Between an unsuccessful running game and Donald making Foles’ life hell, expect Montgomery to see plenty of work in the passing game.

Jared Goff Over 0.5 Interceptions (-134)

While Goff has been consistent this season, throwing two or more touchdowns in four of his last five games, he is also turning the ball over. Goff has four interceptions this season, including one in three of his previous four games. Meanwhile, the Bears have five interceptions this season, including two last week against Teddy Bridgewater and the Carolina Panthers. This game should be ugly, and neither quarterback should have a good performance. With that in mind, expect Goff to throw at least one interception for the third straight game tonight.

Allen Robinson Over 5.5 Receptions (-143)

The first thing everyone is going to think is, “Jalen Ramsey is going to shut Robinson down.” No, he’s not. Robinson might not have a big game, but his target volume is high enough that he should have at least six receptions tonight. Robinson is averaging 11 targets per game, seeing at least nine in every contest this season. Meanwhile, Ramsey has given up some big performances to wide receivers this season. Stefon Diggs caught four of only six targets against the Rams in Week 3, while DeSean Jackson caught six of nine in Week 2, and Amari Cooper caught 10 of 14 in Week 1. While Robinson won’t have a big game, his volume alone all but guarantees a six or more reception game.

Darrell Henderson to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+110)

Since getting an opportunity in Week 2, Henderson has been the Rams’ lead running back. He has scored four touchdowns over his last five games, averaging 15.2 touches per game during that span. Meanwhile, Cam Akers played one snap last week and appears glued to the bench at this point. Furthermore, Malcolm Brown is mostly being used in pass protection situations as he had a season-low five touches last week. Meanwhile, the Bears have given up just under one rushing touchdown per game to the position. Given his role in the offense, Henderson to score at any point tonight at a positive return is just too good to pass up.
