To wrap up a wild Week 6 in the NFL, we get the second game of our Monday night doubleheader between the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. This matchup was supposed to feature Kyler Murray against Dak Prescott. Unfortunately, Dak suffered a season-ending injury last week against the New York Giants.
The team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place for tonight’s game? Here are five bets gamblers should consider placing.

Chase Edmonds Over 22.5 Receiving Yards (-112)
Last week, Edmonds’ role on offense took a step forward. He played a season-high 45 percent of the snaps and had eight touches for 92 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. More importantly, it marked the second straight game Edmonds had over 22.5 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Edmonds has 17 more targets than Kenyan Drake this season, including 12-1 over the last two weeks. Furthermore, Edmonds’ 23 targets are third on the team behind DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have given up 23 or more receiving yards to running backs in 60 percent of their games this season. With Edmonds’ role in the passing game growing, he should hit the over on this prop before the start of the fourth quarter.
Andy Dalton Under 289.5 Passing Yards (-112)
What happened to Dak was unfortunate, and hopefully, he returns next season 100 percent. Now the Cowboys turn the starting job over to Dalton. However, the Cowboys won’t put a lot of pressure on Dalton tonight. While Dak was able to throw for 422.5 yards per game and keep the Cowboys in games, Dalton cannot. Expect the Cowboys to protect Dalton (and their defense) by running the ball and controlling the time of possession. Meanwhile, the Cardinals defense hasn’t given up over 280 passing yards in any game this season. Furthermore, they have held quarterbacks under 260 passing yards in 60 percent of their games this year. Don’t expect Dalton to get anywhere near close to 290 passing yards tonight.
DeAndre Hopkins Over 6.5 Receptions (-139)
You can’t argue against the fact that the Cardinals easily won the trade with the Houston Texans for Hopkins. In five games, he is averaging nine receptions for 106 yards and has scored twice on the season. More importantly, he has consistently been the go-to guy for Murray. Hopkins is averaging just under 11 targets per game and has seen at least seven in every contest this season. Furthermore, Hopkins has caught at least six receptions in every game this year. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are giving up an average of 13 receptions per game to wide receivers. With the Cowboys having a young and struggling secondary, don’t be surprised if Hopkins hits the over on this prop by halftime.
Ezekiel Elliott Over 89.5 Rushing Yards (-112)
With Dalton taking over as the starting quarterback, the Cowboys should feed Zeke even more now. Despite a poor defense and a banged-up offensive line, Zeke has rushed for 89 or more yards in 60 percent of his games this season. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have given up 90 rushing yards to running backs in every game this season. With the change at quarterback and a high powered offense on the other side, expect the Cowboys to feed Zeke. He should finish tonight’s game with a season-high 27 carries for well over 100 rushing yards.
Kyler Murray to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+130)
For first time readers, this bet only cashes if Murray scores a rushing touchdown or receiving touchdown; passing touchdowns don’t count towards this bet. However, entering tonight, Murray is tied for third in the league among all players with five rushing touchdowns. Furthermore, Murray has scored a rushing touchdown in four of five games this season, including last week. Meanwhile, the Cowboys defense has struggled to slow down quarterbacks this season, and none of them have Murray’s rushing ability or athleticism. Expect Murray to have at least one, if not two, rushing touchdown tonight.
