Fanelli’s Fave Five Bets for Tuesday Night Football: Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans

The 2020 NFL season has been nothing but wild over the last two weeks because of Covid-19. Due to the outbreak inside the Tennessee Titans’ facilities, they had to reschedule their Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers for later in the season. Then, they had to push their Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills from Sunday to tonight. So with a rare edition of Tuesday Night Football, gamblers have another game to make some money. However, which bets should they place for tonight’s game? Here are five bets gamblers should consider placing.

Be sure to place your bets with Jazz Sportsbook for the best odds and excellent promotions.

Josh Allen Over 0.5 Interceptions (-167)

So far this season, Allen has done a good job protecting the ball. He has thrown just one interception this season after throwing 21 over the first two years of his career. This season, Allen has an interception rate of 0.7 percent. By comparison, Allen had a 2.7 percent interception rate over his first two years in the league. However, Allen has taken some chances this season, while the Titans have four interceptions over their last two games. If this game turns into a shootout, Allen could easily toss an interception trying to force a throw.

Ryan Tannehill Over 239.5 Passing Yards (-118)

Tannehill will be without several weapons for tonight’s game as both Corey Davis and Adam Humphries will miss the game because of Covid-19. Meanwhile, A.J. Brown is questionable to play with a knee injury, but is trending in the right direction and could play. Either way, the Bills are going to have little trouble scoring on the Titans defense, meaning Tannehill will need to air it out. Furthermore, Tannehill has thrown for at least 239 yards in every game this season. Meanwhile, the Bills have allowed opposing quarterbacks to average 320 passing yards per game over the last three weeks. Don’t be surprised if Tannehill hits the over on this bet before the start of the fourth quarter.

Stefon Diggs Over 72.5 Receiving Yards (-118)

Everyone who thought Diggs would struggle in Buffalo is hiding right now as Diggs has been nothing short of spectacular this season. He is averaging 101 receiving yards per game and has at least 85 receiving yards in three of four contests. Diggs easily leads the team’s wide receivers in snaps played and targets this season. Meanwhile, the Titans have given up an average of 218 receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers over their last two games. Furthermore, cornerback Kristian Fulton will miss tonight’s game with Covid-19. Diggs should have no trouble hitting the over on this bet and could do it before halftime.

Derrick Henry Over 14.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

With so many weapons out for tonight’s game, the Titans will need to rely on Henry all the more. While he typically isn’t used in the passing game, expect Henry to see an extra two or three targets tonight. Henry has only 26 receiving yards this season but has been targeted eight times; fourth-most on the team. Furthermore, Henry is seeing a slight uptick in targets from last season as he is averaging just over one more target per game this season. Meanwhile, the Bills are giving up an average of 4.8 catches per game to opposing running backs. With the uptick in passing game work, Henry should have no problem going over 14.5 receiving yards.

Josh Allen Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+160)

Other than Russell Wilson, it’s hard to argue for anyone else besides Allen as the front runner for MVP this season. Allen has 12 passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns so far this season. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in every contest while averaging three per game. Meanwhile, the Titans have struggled against the pass this season, as they have given up six passing touchdowns over their last two games. Furthermore, they have several defenders on the Covid-19 list that won’t play tonight. With Diggs, John Brown, and Cole Beasley at his disposal, expect Allen to have his third game this season with at least three passing touchdowns.
